In our workshop, we weave numerous models of halyards, both robust and aesthetic, for use in decoration, DIY, boating, industry…
Originally the word halyard is a maritime term for the boat rope used to hoist a sail or a flag. The term halyard has become widespread to designate a whole range of utility cords and ropes, such as clotheslines, garland cords, pull cords, car deck cords, mooring cables…
Our 100% French made braided halyard is designed above all for strength and resistance to the elements. It is made of strong materials, such as polypropylene, polyester or polyamide (nylon), for a perfect hold over time and a use in severe conditions (heat, bad weather, industrial environment…).
Each halyard can be customized by taking advantage of the colors available in each material, in order to fit in with an outdoor decoration or sports accessory project.
To have the widest choice of colors, we recommend you to choose the polyester halyard, which has the widest chromatic range. In addition, we can use recycled polyester for environmentally friendly designs.
For more performing creations, we suggest you to use polyamide or polypropylene halyards, which offer a better elasticity and resistance to breakage. We offer you recycled nylon (Econyl®), in an eco-responsible manufacturing process.
We can also work on other materials (Dyneema®, Vectran®, Spectra®…) to create high resistance halyards, adapted to specific projects in security or industry.
Our specialized team is at your disposal to present you all the possibilities in the manufacturing of braided halyards, from 200 meters (by reference and color). For technical projects we also manufacture many types of braided paracord.
