As a French specialist in textile braiding for more than 100 years, Promotress uses its exceptional know-how in braiding textile materials (aramid, latex, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyamide, cotton, linen, polyester, viscose…), to create custom braids and braided cords.
Today, the materials and design tools have evolved, but the braiding process remains fundamentally the same. From its workshop in Auvergne, Promotress designs and manufactures all types of technical braids, elastic cords, halyards, bungee cords, waterproof braids and overbraided cables for the clothing industry, the automotive sector, sportswear, stationery, car industry…
Our ribbon weaving workshop
Our weaving workshop produces a wide range of ribbons, straps, elastics, braids and other narrow textiles on demand. We master the 3 types of weave (taffeta, twill, satin) and we take advantage of a wide range of materials and colors.
Our specialized team designs and manufactures plain and multicolored ribbons for clothing, packaging, decoration, and technical fields (health, industry, automotive), according to strict specifications.
